By 10:00 a.m. PDT Monday weakening frontal system located on a
line north-south over central Vancouver Island.

Issued 9:26 PM PDT 13 October 2024 A frontal system over the Central Coast will move across NorthernVancouver Island tonight.
Gale force southeasterlies from the Central Coast down to West
Vancouver Island and Johnstone Strait will ease to moderate to strong
northwest/westerlies in the wake of the system by tomorrow morning.
