Vancouver Island.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday ridge located over BC interior.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight low 991 mb located over Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday low 986 mb located over Queen Charlotte
Sound.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight cold front from low located on a line
north-south over Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday cold front from low located from Hecate
Strait to Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:25 PM PST 21 November 2018 A frontal system has developed and is moving through the offshore
waters. The system will generate gale force southeasterlies across
Explorer late this evening then spread to the coastal waters
Thursday. Winds will rise to storm force southeasterlies over most
central waters and west of Vancouver Island Thursday morning. In the
wake of the system winds will shift to strong to gale force
northwesterlies offshore on Thursday.
