northwest-southeast over northern Vancouver Island.

trough over Vancouver Island will produce marginal gale force
Outflow winds through Howe Sound this morning.
The trough stretching from the North Coast to Vancouver Island will
weaken today. Marginal gale force northerly winds over Southern
Explorer, west coast Vancouver Island and Queen Charlotte Sound will
ease to strong to moderate winds today as the trough weakens.
