Issued 4:00 PM PST 28 February 2020 Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 p.m. PST today departing low located over the Central Coast.

At 10:00 p.m. PST tonight building ridge located west of the
offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Saturday ridge located on a line north-south
over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:00 PM PST 28 February 2020 A low pressure system over the Central Coast will move inland tonight
and weaken. Strong to gale force northwesterlies have developed over
most waters behind the low. The exception is strong to gale force
south to southeast winds lingering over central and Southern
Vancouver Island early this evening.

A ridge of high pressure will build west of the offshore waters on
Saturday morning then shift eastward to lie over Bowie by
Saturday afternoon. The ridge will produce strong to gale force
northwesterly winds off the west coast of Vancouver Island on
Saturday night.
