Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM PDT 19 October 2026 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located west of Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT Tuesday weakening frontal system located on a
line northeast-southwest over southern Bowie.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT Tuesday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT Tuesday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over central Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:50 PM PDT 19 October 2026 Strong to gale force southwesterly winds will develop over the
northern half of Bowie this evening as a frontal system approaches.
Gales will spread to Haida Gwaii, Dixon Entrance, and Hecate Strait
on Tuesday. The front will lie across Southern Bowie and Southern
Haida Gwaii late Tuesday. Winds will weaken to moderate westerly
winds Thursday night.
