By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:38 AM PST 20 February 2019 A ridge of high pressure over the Eastern Pacific will continue togenerate northwesterly gales across the outer waters today.
These gales will diminish tonight as the ridge weakens.
On Thursday, a frontal system will move across Bowie and spread
southerly gales to the northern waters. Winds will become gale force
westerlies in the wake of the system.
