At 4:00 p.m. PST Saturday frontal system located west of the
offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:50 AM PST 23 January 2026 High pressure over Interior British Columbia continues to produce
gale force outflow winds through the mainland inlets and valleys of
central and north coasts this morning. These outflow winds will
gradually ease near noon and diminish further by Saturday afternoon
as the high weakens.

Meanwhile, fog bank over the Northern Strait of Georgia is expected
to dissipate to fog patches this afternoon.
