Periods of drizzle beginning overnight changing to scattered showers Sunday morning and ending Sunday afternoon. Fog patches forming after midnight and dissipating Sunday morning.

Issued 4:00 PM PDT 12 July 2025 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located from the North Coast to
Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday ridge located from the Central Coast
to Explorer.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today weakening frontal system located over
Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday dissipating trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the northern North Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 PM PDT 12 July 2025 A frontal system is over Haida Gwaii and marginal southerly gales
have developed through Northern Hecate Strait and Dixon Entrance
East. The gales will dissipate this evening.

A ridge of high pressure will strengthen again on Sunday, generating
northwesterly gales over West Vancouver Island and westerly gales
over Central and Eastern Juan de Fuca Strait in the afternoon.
