Marine Weather StatementIssued 10:15 AM PST 18 December 2017 A low pressure centre will form southwest of the Explorer region
This afternoon and then move northeastward and deepen over Northern
Washington state Tuesday afternoon. Strong easterly winds will
develop ahead of the low tonight and shift to strong to local
Gale force westerlies in its wake.
A trough of low pressure extending northwards from the low will
strengthen during the day on Tuesday with gale force northerly
Winds developing over most offshore and outer coastal waters as well
as mainland inlets.
