Wind diminishing to southeast 15 to 25 late overnight and to southeast 10 to 15 Tuesday morning. Wind becoming variable 5 to 15 Tuesday afternoon then becoming northwest 5 to 15 Tuesday evening.

Showers changing to rain near noon then to showers Tuesday morning.

Issued 10:30 AM PDT 27 July 2026 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today low 1002 mb located west of Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today low 1000 mb located over southern Bowie.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located over Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today approaching frontal system located west of
Cape Scott.

At 11:00 p.m. PDT tonight weakening frontal system located near
the Central Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:01 AM PDT 27 July 2026 A frontal system will cross Northern Explorer this morning.
Ahead of the system, southerly gales will spread from Explorer to
West Coast Vancouver Island North, Queen Charlotte Sound, Central
Coast, and Southern Hecate Strait this afternoon. Winds will ease
below gales by midnight.
