At 10:30 a.m. PDT today trough located west of the offshore waters.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over the offshore waters.
At 10:30 a.m. PDT Thursday quasi-stationary ridge located on a
line north-south over Explorer.
At 10:30 a.m. PDT Thursday frontal system located over northern
Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Thursday frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Haida Gwaii.

Issued 10:14 AM PDT 9 July 2025 A ridge of high pressure remains over the offshore waters today.Westerly winds through central and eastern sections of Juan de Fuca
strait will rise to marginal gales early this evening as the ridge
approaches. These winds will weaken on Thursday morning.
A frontal system is approaching the North Coast on Thursday. This
will bring southeasterly gales to the nortern waters.
