northeast-southwest over northern Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:43 AM PDT 14 August 2018 A ridge of high pressure over Southern Haida Gwaii will slide
southeastwards towards Queen Charlotte Sound this morning. A cold
front will weaken over Northern Haida Gwaii this morning.
Strong to gale force northwesterlies ahead of the ridge will develop
this morning over West Coast Vancouver Island North. Strong to gale
force northwesterlies will also develop this afternoon through
Johnstone Strait and tonight over West Coast Vancouver Island South.
