of Juan de Fuca Strait.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing low located over Bellingham.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today ridge located on a line north-south
over Bowie.
By 10:00 p.m. PDT tonight ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:15 AM PDT 28 October 2021 Strong to gale force southwesterly winds are expected over northern
offshore waters tonight with the passage of a weak disturbance.

A ridge of high pressure over central waters will drive increasing
northwesterly winds west of Vancouver Island beginning tonight.
Strong to gale force northwesterlies just west of Vancouver Island
tonight will ease somewhat Friday morning.
