Wind diminishing to light near midnight then becoming southerly inflow 5 to 15 Wednesday morning except southerly inflow 20 over northern sections Wednesday afternoon and evening.

to Hecate Strait.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today trough located over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:42 AM PDT 30 May 2023 A stationary ridge from Explorer to Hecate Strait is producing gale
force westerly winds through Juan de Fuca Strait. These winds will
diminish early this morning, then redevelop this afternoon.

Gale force northwesterly winds along West Vancouver Island will ease
this morning.
