Issued 10:30 AM PST 13 December 2018 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:30 a.m. PST today warm front located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Vancouver Island.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Friday warm front located on a line
northeast-southwest over Cape Scott.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today dissipating low 990 mb located over the
northern Alaska panhandle.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today deepening low 996 mb located 250 miles
southwest of Explorer.
By 1:00 p.m. PST Friday low 984 mb located over northern Vancouver

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:27 AM PST 13 December 2018 A Pacific warm front near the southern tip of Vancouver Island will
move northward to lie across the northern tip of Vancouver Island
tonight and Friday morning. An intense 990 millibar low over the
Northern Alaskan Panhandle will dissipate today. Meanwhile, another
intense Pacific low will move into Explorer late tonight then cross
Northern Vancouver Island late Friday afternoon.

Over northern waters, strong to gale force westerly winds will ease
to moderate to strong northwest this afternoon. Winds will rise to
strong to gale force northerly by Friday morning. Over central
waters, light to moderate variable winds will rise to gale force
northerly tonight. Over southern waters, winds will rise to gale
force southeast this afternoon then to storm force southeast off
Vancouver Island overnight. Winds will shift to westerly gales late
