Issued 9:30 PM PDT 30 March 2023 Tonight and Friday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located on a linenorth-south over eastern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday departing frontal system located on a line
north-south over southern Vancouver Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:09 PM PDT 30 March 2023 A frontal system over Bowie will track southeastward across HaidaGwaii tonight and Vancouver Island on Friday. Ahead of the system,
strong to gale force southerly winds west of Haida Gwaii will spread
to northern coastal waters overnight and then central and southern
waters including the Strait of Georgia through Friday morning.
In its wake, winds will shift to strong to gale force northwesterly
tonight through Friday, and then spread to Juan de Fuca Strait Friday
evening as the system departs the South Coast.
