Wind southeast 20 to 30 knots increasing to southeast 30 to 40 early this morning and to southeast 40 to 50 late this morning. Wind becoming southeast 45 to 55 near noon with gusts to 60 then diminishing to south 30 to 40 Sunday afternoon except northwest 15 to 25 over northwestern sections Sunday evening. Wind diminishing to westerly 10 to 20 Sunday evening.

Rain changing to showers Sunday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

By 4:00 a.m. PST Sunday ridge located over southern BC interior.

At 4:00 a.m. PST today intensifying frontal system located over
the offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:56 AM PST 8 November 2025 A frontal system will intensify over northern and central waters, and
waters surrounding Northern Vancouver Island this morning. Gale to
storm force southeasterly winds are forecast today through late
Sunday.
