Wind southeast 45 to 55 knots with gusts to 60 becoming southeast 40 to 50 this morning then becoming south 35 to 45 early this afternoon. Wind backing to southeast 30 to 40 late this afternoon except northwest 15 to 25 over northwestern sections. Wind diminishing to westerly 10 to 20 this evening then backing to southwest 15 to 25 Monday morning. Wind increasing to south 25 to 35 Monday afternoon with gusts to 40 then diminishing to southwest 15 to 25 Monday evening.
Rain ending this evening. Showers beginning overnight and changing to rain near noon Monday. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

Strait to Cape St. James then to Explorer.
At 10:30 a.m. PST today weakening ridge located over southern
BC interior.
At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight trough located west of the offshore waters.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Monday trough located over Bowie.

Issued 3:26 AM PST 9 November 2025 An intense frontal system will continue to generate gale to stormforce southeasterly winds this morning over northern and central
waters. A brief period of marginal southeasterly gales is expected
over northern sections of the Strait of Georgia late this morning and
this afternoon.
Strong to gale force northeasterly outflow winds through Howe Sound
will weaken this morning.
