Island.
By 9:00 p.m. PST tonight dissipating frontal system located over
southern Vancouver Island.

By midnight PST Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 PM PST 22 January 2019 A frontal system moving through the southern waters is generating
gale force east to southeasterly winds over Queen Charlotte Sound
And Queen Charlotte Strait, and westerly gales over southern
Explorer late this afternoon. Winds will become strong to gale force
northwesterly in the wake of the system over Explorer and west coast
Vancouver Island.
