Issued 4:00 AM PST 19 December 2024 Today Tonight and Friday At 4:00 a.m. PST today ridge located over northern BC interior.At 4:00 a.m. PST today frontal system located from Haida Gwaii
to Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing frontal system located from the
North Coast to Vancouver Island.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday frontal system located west of the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Friday departing frontal system located from
Haida Gwaii to Vancouver Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:30 AM PST 19 December 2024 A frontal system extending from Haida Gwaii to Explorer will moveonto the mainland coast today. Gale to storm force southeasterlies
ahead of the system will ease this evening as the system pushes
further inland.
The next frontal system approaches the offshore waters tonight and
moves eastward across the marine regions on Friday. Gale to storm
force southeasterlies will develop again ahead of this system.
Strong to gale force outflow winds continue through mainland inlets
as a ridge of high pressure remains over the interior.
