Issued 9:30 PM PDT 14 August 2020 Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located from Bowie to the
North Coast.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT Saturday departing frontal system located over
the North Coast.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday approaching low 1002 mb located off Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 PM PDT 14 August 2020 A frontal system will remain draped across the northern waters
through Saturday.

Winds along the frontal system will mainly stay below gale criteria,
however a disturbance in the system will allow winds to briefly
increase to gale force early Saturday morning.

Winds will again reach gale status on Saturday night over Hecate
Strait and Dixon Entrance East as a weak low develops along the
frontal boundary.
