Issued 3:52 PM PDT 14 July 2025 A ridge of high pressure offshore will remain quasistationary thisweek. Gale force northwesterlies west of Vancouver Island will
prevail through the week. Strong northwest winds over the north and
central waters will increase to gale force late Tuesday morning as
the ridge strengthens.
Strong to gale force northwesterly winds over Johnstone Strait will
diminish this evening and remain moderate to strong on Tuesday.
