northeast-southwest over southern Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today low 994 mb located south of Explorer.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday departing low 990 mb located over
central Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:40 AM PDT 11 March 2025 An approaching low pressure centre will track northwards across
Southern Explorer and Vancouver Island tonight before moving
Onto the mainland coast Wednesday morning. Ahead of the low,
southerly gales will develop tonight over West Coast Vancouver Island
South and then ease overnight. In its wake, winds will shift to
moderate to strong northwesterly Wednesday morning.
