By 4:00 p.m. PST today dissipating cold front located over Haida
Gwaii.
At 4:00 p.m. PST today intensifying low 978 mb located west
of Bowie.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Thursday low 981 mb located north of Bowie.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 10:15 AM PST 11 February 2026 A cold front will remain over northern waters today generating strongto gale force southerly winds over northern and central waters.
An intense area of low pressure will approach the offshore waters
this afternoon then move into the Gulf of Alaska tonight. Widespread
gale force southerly winds are forecast for central waters and Hecate
Strait. Waters near and west of Haida Gwaii will see storm force
southerly and westerly winds tonight and Thursday morning.
