Issued 4:00 PM PST 14 December 2017 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. PST today weakening frontal system located on a line
north-south over the Central Coast.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Friday weakening frontal system located near
the West Entrance of Juan de Fuca Strait.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today building ridge located over Explorer.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Friday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Queen Charlotte Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:47 PM PST 14 December 2017 In the wake of a weakening front over the Central Coast, marginal
gale force southwest winds will prevail over Northern Bowie through
early Friday morning.

A ridge of high pressure will build over the central offshore waters
tonight. Gale force northwest winds will develop off the west coast
of Vancouver Island on Friday.
