Issued 9:30 PM PDT 8 April 2020 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over northern Vancouver Island.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Thursday dissipating ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Vancouver Island.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight weakening frontal system located on a
line northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.
By 2:00 p.m. PDT Thursday dissipating frontal system located on
a line northeast-southwest over Queen Charlotte Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:29 PM PDT 8 April 2020 A frontal system over Haida Gwaii will continue to generate strong to
gale force southerly winds through Hecate Strait late this evening.
The winds will ease to moderate northerlies later tonight as the
system weakens.
