north-south over northern Vancouver Island.
By 11:00 p.m. PDT Thursday ridge located on a line north-south
over central Vancouver Island.

At 5:00 a.m. PDT Thursday frontal system located over northwestern
Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Thursday frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:21 PM PDT 18 April 2018 A frontal system will be approaching the North Coast tonight. The
front will reach Bowie overnight and will lie in a northeast to
southwest line across Haida Gwaii by late Thursday afternoon.

Moderate to strong southerlies will rise to gale force
This evening over most of the central and
Northern waters ahead of the approaching front.
