north-south over Vancouver Island.

At 11:00 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary low located west of
the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 PM PDT 7 May 2025 Strong daytime heating over the mainland combined with a ridge of
high pressure building over Vancouver Island will produce westerly
gales through central and East Juan de Fuca Strait through this
evening.
