Wind becoming south 30 to 40 late this afternoon then diminishing to south 20 to 30 this evening except northwest 15 to 25 over northern sections. Wind diminishing to northwest 10 to 15 near midnight then backing to southwest 10 to 20 Monday morning. Wind increasing to southwest 25 to 35 Monday evening.

Rain changing to showers near midnight then to rain Monday afternoon. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

Issued 10:30 AM PST 9 November 2025 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:30 a.m. PST today frontal system located over western
Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today weakening frontal system located from Hecate
Strait to Cape St. James then to Explorer.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today weakening ridge located over southern
BC interior.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight trough located west of the offshore waters.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Monday trough located over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:31 AM PST 9 November 2025 An intense frontal system continues to generate gale to storm force
southeasterly winds late this morning over northern and central
waters. Winds will gradually subside to westerly moderate to strong
this afternoon.

A brief period of marginal southeasterly gales is expected over
northern sections of the Strait of Georgia late this morning and this
afternoon.
