By 2:00 a.m. PDT Friday weakening frontal system located over the
Central Coast.
At 5:00 p.m. PDT Friday building ridge located west of the offshore
waters.

Issued 3:49 PM PDT 15 May 2025 A frontal system stretching from Hecate Strait to the centralCoast will very slowly track eastward. By Friday morning the frontal
system weakens and moves inland. Ahead of the front, southeast gales
have developed over northern coastal waters and have spread to
North Vancouver Island as well. Winds will gradually ease overnight.
