over Cape Scott.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today frontal system located off Bowie.
By 11:00 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 AM PDT 22 April 2018 A ridge of high pressure will build in a north to south line over
Cape Scott this morning. A frontal system will be approaching
The offshore waters on and will reach Bowie this evening.

Light to moderate northwesterlies will prevail east of the ridge.
Gale force southerlies over Bowie will spread to most areas adjacent
to Haida Gwaii by this afternoon as the frontal system advances.
Gales will spread to Dixon Entrance East and Northern Hecate Strait
this evening. Also this evening, winds will approach marginal storm
force over Dixon Entrance West, Northern Haida Gwaii, and
Northeastern Bowie.
