Issued 10:30 AM PST 14 November 2025 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:30 a.m. PST today weakening ridge located on a linenortheast-southwest over southern Vancouver Island.
At 10:30 a.m. PST today intensifying frontal system located over
Haida Gwaii.
By 7:00 p.m. PST tonight departing frontal system located over
the Central Coast.
At 4:00 p.m. PST Saturday approaching low located southwest of
the offshore waters.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 10:20 AM PST 14 November 2025 A frontal system currently over Haida Gwaii is generatingsoutheasterly gale force winds across Hecate Strait and Dixon
Entrance this morning. These southeasterly gales will spread to the
central waters and the headlands of Vancouver Island near midday.
Winds will diminish to westerly strong near late this evening.
In the wake of this frontal system, westerly gale force winds will
develop across Bowie and Dixon Entrance this evening and subside to
westerly strong late overnight.
