Wind southerly 10 to 20 knots increasing to southeast 20 to 30 early this afternoon and to easterly 30 to 40 early this evening. Wind increasing to northwest 40 to 50 late overnight then diminishing to northwest 30 to 40 Sunday morning. Wind diminishing to northwest 15 to 25 Sunday evening.
Showers changing to rain this afternoon then to showers Sunday morning.

Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:21 AM PST 22 February 2020 An intense low pressure system will approach Explorer this afternoon
and continue east towards Northern Vancouver Island tonight. The low
will move across Northern Vancouver Island Sunday morning then into
the BC Interior in the afternoon.
Gale to storm force southeast winds will develop ahead of the system
over southern and central waters. Gale to storm force northwest winds
will develop over most BC waters in the wake of the low.
