By 4:00 a.m. PDT Monday ridge located from Explorer to the North
Coast.

Issued 3:44 AM PDT 21 July 2024 A ridge building over the offshore waters will generate strong to
gale force westerly winds through Juan de Fuca Strait today
With the strongest winds expected in the evening. Winds will rise to
gale force westerly again Monday afternoon.

Northwesterly gale force winds will also develop late this afternoon
through Johnstone Strait and ease overnight, then rise to gale force
Monday afternoon.
