Wind southeast 45 to 55 knots except southeast 65 near the headlands. Wind becoming southwest 45 to 55 near noon then diminishing to southwest 30 to 40 this afternoon. Wind backing to southeast 25 to 35 early this evening then increasing to southeast 35 to 45 late this evening. Wind increasing to southeast 45 to 55 near midnight then becoming southeast 50 to 60 early Sunday morning except southeast 70 near the headlands. Wind diminishing to south 35 Sunday afternoon and to southwest 30 Sunday evening.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today departing frontal system located from Haida
Gwaii to the Central Coast.
At 10:00 p.m. PST tonight frontal system located west of the
offshore waters.
By 10:00 a.m. PST Sunday frontal system located from Haida Gwaii
to Vancouver Island.
At 4:00 p.m. PST Sunday trough located from Bowie to Explorer.

Issued 3:54 PM PST 21 December 2024 A frontal system crossing Haida Gwaii and Northern VancouverIsland will move onto the North Coast tonight. Gale to storm force
southeasterlies will ease this evening.
Another frontal system is already approaching the offshore waters
will move across the marine regions on Sunday. Storm to hurricane
force southeasterlies will develop ahead of this system with
southeast gales developing over the inner South Coast. This system
will bring gale to storm force southwesterlies in its wake on Sunday
night over northern regions.
Gale force outflow winds will persist at times over the next
