Issued 4:00 AM PDT 20 October 2018 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 11:00 p.m. PDT Sunday weakening ridge located on a line
north-south over northern Vancouver Island.

At 11:00 p.m. PDT tonight building ridge located over BC interior.
By 11:00 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening ridge located over BC interior.

At 5:00 p.m. PDT Sunday approaching cold front located on a line
north-south over western Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:59 AM PDT 20 October 2018 A ridge of high pressure will lie in a northeast to southwest line
over Queen Charlotte Sound today. The ridge will start to shift
eastward over Vancouver Island Sunday evening as the next frontal
system reaches Bowie.

Strong to gale force southerlies are forecast over the northern
offshore waters today and Sunday in advance of the approaching
Front. Elsewhere winds will be mostly light to moderate with local
strong northerlies forecast near Northern Vancouver Island.
