over southern Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the offshore waters.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today trough located over Haida Gwaii to Bowie.
By 10:00 p.m. PDT tonight trough located over Hecate Strait to
Explorer.

At 9:00 p.m. PDT tonight low located northwest of Bowie.
By 10:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday low located north of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:27 AM PDT 6 July 2026 A frontal system is pushing across Haida Gwaii today. Gale force
southeast winds will develop east of Dixon Entrance West and over
Dixon Entrance East and Northern Hecate Strait late this morning.
The southeasterly gales will ease this evening.

Westerly gale winds will also develop over Juan de Fuca Strait
Tuesday evening.
