north-south over southern Vancouver Island.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight trough located from the North Coast
to Explorer.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Friday weakening trough located from the Central
Coast to Explorer.

At 9:30 p.m. PST Friday building ridge located northwest of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:51 PM PST 12 February 2026 A low pressure centre over the Alaska Panhandle will continue to move
inland this evening. In its wake, gale to strong southwesterly winds
over Northern Bowie and Dixon Entrance will gradually ease tonight.
A trough currently located west of Southern Bowie will track
eastward, reaching the North Coast tonight. Strong to gale force
southwesterly winds are expected in its wake, easing after midnight.
