southwestward.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening ridge located over the Central
Coast extending southwestward.

At 5:00 a.m. PDT Monday ridge located west of the offshore waters.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT Monday ridge located over the western offshore
waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:20 PM PDT 13 April 2024 A ridge of high pressure from Haida Gwaii to Northern Explorer will
spread moderate to strong northerlies across southern waters tonight
except gale force northwest over West Vancouver Island south of
Brooks Peninsula and northwest of Estevan Point this evening.

Winds will strengthen to strong to gale force northerlies to West
Vancouver Island south and Juan de Fuca Strait late Sunday afternoon.
