Issued 10:30 AM PDT 15 October 2024 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today trough located off the offshore waters.
By 11:00 p.m. PDT tonight trough located from Hecate Strait
to Tofino.

At 1:00 p.m. PDT today deepening low located over northern Explorer.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT tonight low 1000 mb located over northern Hecate
Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:19 AM PDT 15 October 2024 A trough moving across the northern and central waters today will
generate southerly strong to gale force winds from Eastern Dixon
Entrance to Southern Explorer. This afternoon, a small but intense
low pressure centre will develop over Northern Explorer and move
quickly into Hecate Strait this evening. Gale force winds with
Sudden wind direction changes will accompany this system.
