to Tofino.
At 1:00 p.m. PDT today deepening low located over northern Explorer.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT tonight low 1000 mb located over northern Hecate
Strait.

Issued 10:19 AM PDT 15 October 2024 A trough moving across the northern and central waters today willgenerate southerly strong to gale force winds from Eastern Dixon
Entrance to Southern Explorer. This afternoon, a small but intense
low pressure centre will develop over Northern Explorer and move
quickly into Hecate Strait this evening. Gale force winds with
Sudden wind direction changes will accompany this system.
