Wind southeast 15 knots increasing to northerly 15 to 25 near noon and to northwest 30 to 40 early this afternoon. Wind backing to southwest 25 to 35 late this afternoon then becoming southwest 20 to 30 early this evening. Wind diminishing to southwest 10 to 20 late this evening then backing to southeast 25 late overnight. Wind increasing to southeast 40 to 50 Saturday morning then diminishing to south 35 Saturday afternoon.

Scattered showers ending near midnight. Rain Saturday. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

By 3:00 p.m. PCT today departing low located over the Central Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PCT Saturday frontal system located west of Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PCT Saturday frontal system located from the North
Coast to Explorer.

At 4:00 p.m. PCT Saturday intensifying trough located west of the
offshore waters.
By 4:00 a.m. PCT Sunday trough located from Haida Gwaii to
Vancouver Island.
