Wind southerly 20 to 30 knots diminishing to south 10 to 20 near noon then increasing to south 20 to 30 late this evening. Wind increasing to south 30 to 40 early Wednesday morning then becoming south 35 to 45 near noon Wednesday. Wind diminishing to westerly 20 to 30 Wednesday afternoon then becoming westerly 25 to 35 Wednesday evening.

Rain changing to showers overnight. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

Issued 10:30 AM PST 14 January 2025 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:30 a.m. PST today departing frontal system located over the
Central Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Wednesday approaching frontal system located west
of the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:02 AM PST 14 January 2025 A front has stalled over the Central Coast this morning maintaining
strong to gale force southerly winds over the central waters.

Overnight tonight and into Wednesday morning, another frontal system
will approach the offshore waters. Gale force southerlies will form
ahead of this system Wednesday morning. As the system moves towards
the mainland, southerly winds will increase to gale to storm force
over the northern waters in the afternoon.
