Issued 9:30 PM PDT 2 August 2021 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight ridge located from the Central Coast
to Explorer.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Tuesday ridge located over northern Vancouver
Island.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located over Bowie.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday frontal system located over Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:17 PM PDT 2 August 2021 A ridge of high pressure west of Vancouver Island and strong daytime
heating over the BC Interior are producing strong to gale force
inflow winds through Juan de Fuca and strong to gale force
northwesterly winds through Johnstone Strait every day in the
Late afternoon and evening. Winds then ease to moderate to strong by
early morning.

On Tuesday, an approaching front will produce strong to gale force
southerly winds over the northern waters.
