Issued 4:00 AM PDT 6 July 2026 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 3:00 p.m. PDT today weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today trough located over Haida Gwaii.
By 11:00 p.m. PDT tonight departing trough located over Hecate
Strait.

At 8:00 p.m. PDT tonight low located northwest of Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday low located north of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:49 AM PDT 6 July 2026 A frontal system is pushing across Haida Gwaii this morning. Gale
force southeast winds will develop over Dixon Entrance East and
Northern Hecate Strait late this morning. The southeasterly gales
will ease this evening.
