By 10:30 a.m. PST today departing warm front located on a line
east-west over the southern Alaska panhandle.
At 4:00 p.m. PST today cold front located over the offshore waters.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Wednesday weakening cold front located on a line
north-south over Cape Scott.
At 4:00 p.m. PST Wednesday building ridge located over Queen
Charlotte Sound.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:39 AM PST 13 January 2026 A warm front over the Queen Charlotte Sound will move northwardacross the northern waters this morning. Gale to storm force
southerly winds will develop in its wake over the northern and
central waters.
A trailing cold front will move across the northern waters tonight.
Winds will shift to strong to gale force southwesterlies behind the
cold front, except storm force southwesterlies over Bowie. Winds will
ease to moderate to strong southwesterlies on Wednesday as a ridge
builds.
