over the West Entrance of Juan de Fuca Strait.
At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located over Hecate Strait.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing frontal system located over the
Alaska panhandle.
At 4:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday building ridge located west of the
offshore waters.

Issued 10:23 AM PDT 15 June 2026 A frontal system over Haida Gwaii today with strong to gale forcesoutherly winds over Dixon Entrance East and the northern half of
Hecate Strait this morning and early afternoon.
A ridge of high pressure will strengthen off Vancouver Island today
with winds through Juan de Fuca Strait rising to gale force westerly
this afternoon. These winds will remain near or at gale force through
Wednesday morning.
