north-south over Queen Charlotte Sound.
At 4:00 a.m. PDT today weakening cold front located on a line
north-south over Haida Gwaii.
By 11:00 a.m. PDT today dissipating cold front located on a line
north-south over Hecate Strait.
At 4:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday building ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Langara.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:26 PM PDT 21 May 2018 A cold front over Haida Gwaii is weakening this evening. Gale force
southerlies ahead of the front over Dixon Entrance East and Hecate
Strait north will ease to strong overnight. Winds will continue to
ease Tuesday as the front dissipates and a weak ridge of high
pressure builds over BC waters.
