Issued 9:30 PM PST 27 January 2021 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary ridge located overBC interior.
At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight trough located from the Alaska panhandle
to Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday weakening trough located from the Central
Coast to Explorer.
At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight approaching frontal system located west
of the offshore waters.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:20 PM PST 27 January 2021 A ridge of high pressure will remain over the BC Interior. Strong togale force outflow winds will prevail through the coastal mainland
inlets through Thursday morning.
Moderate freezing spray will develop through Douglas Channel this
evening and continue through Thursday morning.
A frontal system will approach the offshore waters late Thursday.
Ahead of the front, southerly gales will develop over Bowie Thursday
evening.
