At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday low located west of Explorer.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Friday low located over southern Explorer.

Issued 3:46 AM PST 12 December 2024 Strong to gale force westerly to northwesterly winds over theoffshore waters will ease this morning as a trough departs.
A low will approach Explorer on Friday bringing gale to storm force
southeast winds west of Vancouver Island and strong to gale force
southeast winds to the inner south coastal waters.
