Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM PDT 27 September 2020 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located over eastern Queen
Charlotte Sound.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Monday dissipating frontal system located over
the Central Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:26 PM PDT 27 September 2020 A Pacific frontal system over East Queen Charlotte Sound will move
eastward to lie over the Central Coast overnight tonight. Ahead of
the front, gale to storm force southeasterly winds will continue over
central coastal waters through overnight. In the wake of the system,
winds will shift to strong to gale force southwesterlies except storm
force over Northern Bowie. The winds will ease on Monday morning as
the system weakens.
